Q) USCG HAT BOX QUESTIONS:
The USCG CPO Glass pieces are all unique to each individual.
If you are interested in USCG Hat Box Glass, please contact us directly at info@robinglassart.com.

A) Below are basic answers:
Average glass cut varies from 9" to 16W, with varying height. You may order any size glass for your project.
We charge 50-$75 for the USCG CPO Anchor, which includes the glass (called-Basic).
The basic price includes one personalized line above the CPO Anchor, two lines below the anchor.
Additional space for script is allowed, at no charge, but keep in mind - increase script work, reduces Anchor Art.
Average turn around is 5-8 business days to depart the studio, once all information is received.
Each piece is double glassed. 1/8" glass (the actual painted glass) + 1/8" spacer + 1/16" protective glass.
You may request colored glass, navy blue (cobalt), rich red cranberry.
Dependent upon your artwork glass size, there may be an additional fee (usually $10) and an extended turn around (add 3 days).
There are several ways that chiefs have set the glass on/in the box.
One way is to route the hole on the top with a lip, the glass sets in and is secured with picture rail.
If your construction material is not deep enough to do this, alternatively it may sit on top of the cut wood, then secure with edging/picture rail.
There are no restrictions on what you can do with your hat box, other than your imagination.
Contact us at info@robinglassart.com and we will help you out.

There are no additional fees or 'waiting'. We make it as easy as possible.
Q) You used to sell pieces that were 26L x 12, why not any more?
A) Damage. Simple as that.
UPS stated the 26L pieces were not making the "belt" turns and would get caught, basically becoming jammed with other boxes.
This was painful for us, as well as the customer.
A decision was made to reduce the length to 20". They are still beautiful!
